Sessions are conducted by board-certified OB-GYN physicians with experience preparing candidates for the ABOG Certifying Examination. Faculty include experienced physician educators and recently certified physicians familiar with contemporary oral-board preparation.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF A MOCK ORAL SESSION?
A standard one-on-one session lasts 60 minutes and includes structured, examiner-led questioning in an ABOG-style format, followed by focused feedback. Feedback may address clinical reasoning, organization, communication, prioritization, and examination strategy.

ARE MOCK ORAL SESSIONS CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY?
Yes. Sessions are conducted live through Zoom. The meeting link will be included in the calendar invitation for each scheduled session.

DO I NEED TO SUBMIT MY CASE LIST?
For mock oral sessions, submit a case list only if you want the session to use your own list. Candidates choosing an examiner-selected standardized list do not need to submit materials and should request that option in advance.

Yes. The Full Exam-Day Simulation includes two board-certified OB-GYN examiners and is designed to provide realistic practice with time pressure, pacing, examiner transitions, and structured oral questioning. The specific duration and included deliverables are listed in the package description.

WHAT IS THE ONE-REVIEWER FULL CASE-LIST REVIEW?
This service provides an examiner-style review by one board-certified OB-GYN physician. The reviewer evaluates case-list organization, balance, patterns, potential vulnerabilities, and cases likely to prompt deeper questioning.
The service includes review of up to 200 cases and written recommendations. It does not include a live mock oral session or a second independent review.

WHAT IS THE TWO-REVIEWER FULL CASE-LIST REVIEW?Two board-certified OB-GYN physicians independently evaluate the case list. Each reviewer assesses its organization, balance, defensibility, potential vulnerabilities, and cases likely to attract examiner scrutiny.Their findings are then consolidated into one focused set of written recommendations to help the candidate prepare for case-list questioning.

WHAT IS THE SINGLE-SECTION CASE LIST REVIEW?
This service provides focused written feedback on one selected section of the case list: Obstetrics, Gynecology, or Office Practice.
It includes review of up to 40 cases from the selected section, with recommendations addressing organization, defensibility, potential vulnerabilities, and examination strategy.If the section contains more than 40 cases, additional cases may be added during checkout for $75 per block of up to 20 additional cases.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PURCHASE A CASE LIST REVIEW?
Within 24 hours after payment, you will receive instructions for submitting a fully de-identified case list. Once the list is received and confirmed to be readable and de-identified, faculty review will begin.
Written feedback is typically delivered within 7 business days after that confirmation.

WHAT IF MY CASE LIST EXCEEDS THE INCLUDED LIMIT?
Full Case List Reviews include up to 200 cases. Single-Section Case List Reviews include up to 40 cases from one selected section.

POLICIES

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULINGA session may be rescheduled without penalty when the request is received by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.BoardReady OBGYN understands that unexpected clinical or personal obligations may arise. At its discretion, BoardReady OBGYN may accommodate one late cancellation or rescheduling request per purchase as a courtesy when notice is provided as soon as reasonably possible. This courtesy applies once per purchase, not once per session.After the courtesy has been used, additional cancellations or rescheduling requests received within 24 hours of a session, as well as no-shows, will result in forfeiture of the affected session time. The time will be deducted from the remaining package hours and will not be refunded or credited.All package hours must be used within the timeframe stated at purchase. Rescheduling does not extend that timeframe unless BoardReady OBGYN agrees otherwise in writing.To request a scheduling change, reply to your confirmation email.

For live mock oral sessions using the candidate’s own case list, submission 5-7 days before the session is preferred. The case list must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Candidates using an examiner-selected standardized list do not need to submit materials but should request this option in advance.
Candidates purchasing a written case-list review will receive service-specific submission instructions and the applicable delivery timeframe after payment.All case lists must be fully de-identified and emailed only to [email protected]. Candidates are responsible for removing all patient identifiers, including names, dates of birth, medical-record numbers, addresses, exact dates, and other identifying information.If identifying information is discovered, BoardReady OBGYN will stop reviewing the material and request a corrected, fully de-identified copy. Late or missing submissions may limit individualized preparation.
